7th Wave Rehearsal Studios
Description: Kevin (Kev) Davis (Proprietor) began his extensive drumming career working in the West End of London followed by several contracts on major cruise liners including P & O, Caribbean Cruise Line, Airtours and Princess Cruises. These tours included playing in top hotel venues including Dubai, Italy, Denmark and Germany, with stars such as The Supremes, The Three Degrees and Lenny Henry to name but a few. After many successful years on the road, not only gaining a massive knowledge in the music industry, but also working with world class professionals, Kev began to utilise all this experience teaching the drums to local enthusiasts. Having listened to his pupils (there is nowhere to rehearse!), Kev was convinced that there was a need to provide a facility where local, mainly young musicians, had somewhere to practice, so in August 2003, 7th Wave Music Studios was born. After more than 20 years at the top of the professional music business, Kev is still deeply passionate about music and the needs of musicians. - "You can only really know your business if you have spent all your life involved and dedicated to it, "I am not just a business man, but a music business man who cares passionately about what I do". 7th Wave Music Studios have recently opened "a retail side of the business" - (see our Music Store), musicians and students can purchase everything they need for playing and rehearsals. Ample free parking is available which is central to Worcester city centre. Drummonds
Description: Drummonds Bar, the largest of three bars at the Swan With Two Nicks, is now firmly established as Worcester's favourite venue for live music. Hop Pole Inn
